The Portfolio Way of Investing
In order to guard against the problem of crashes, Harry Markowitz in 1952 proposed a system by which stocks are diversified - and this has been highly profitable since. However, though, many see this way of investing as sort of ineffective - mainly because it's too safe. For instance, the real estate guru Robert Kiyosaki has suggested taking more of a risk - but assuming the investor will do their homework first.
Anyway, what do you feel is better choice - safe investing or a more risky stance? Should risky investing be legal, considering the terrible consequences it seems to always unleash?
